About Us

World Dance Wellness Foundation was created from a simple but powerful belief: dance and movement belong to everyone.

Across cultures and throughout history, dance has been a universal language of expression, connection, and healing. Yet access to dance and movement opportunities remains limited for many people due to economic barriers, health challenges, disability, age, or lack of resources.

The World Dance Wellness Foundation exists to change that.

Our nonprofit organization works to expand access to dance and movement-based wellness programs so that individuals and communities of all ages and abilities can experience the physical, emotional, and social benefits of movement.

Through partnerships with dance professionals, studios, educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations, we develop programs that bring inclusive movement experiences to those who might otherwise never have the opportunity.

We believe dance can:

  • improve physical health and mobility

  • support emotional wellbeing and mental health

  • strengthen confidence and self-expression

  • create connection and belonging within communities

From youth programs and community classes to adaptive movement initiatives and wellness-based dance education, the foundation works to ensure that every body has the opportunity to move with dignity, joy, and purpose.
